Enter descriptive text to be attached to the code number just entered.

Things You Should Know

• Loan Type is a required field within each Loan Master file.  These codes are also available as selection criteria on reports and statistics.
  
  
• There are sixteen pre-established status codes with the standard GMS-RLSS programming.
  
  
• Code descriptions may be edited or deleted as desired.  Caution is advised when editing or deleting as the codes within Loan Master files may be an important component of reports provided to management staff, funders, or board committees.

• If you receive EDA funding you may wish to consult the Things You Should Know section of the EDA Supplement before establishing any new loan types.
