GMS Service Chat is a live help service for you to get immediate answers to quick, easy questions. The chat service is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. You must use your client number and name when logging into Chat.
To enter the Service Chat room while in GMS, click on Help, GMS Web Site, click on Client Portal.
Under the section for Support and Feedback, click on Chat With A Service & Support Specialist, then select the GMS logo Click To Chat Now. (Or you can go to our website www.gmsactg.com and follow the same procedure.) Enter your name and agency number (Ann 111), then enter your email address. Click on Submit. A GMS Service person will answer.
You can type in your message and either hit enter or Send Message. When you are finished with your conversation, click on End Chat at the bottom left. You will need to verify that you do want to end chat, and then you will get a screen with your conversation. If you want to email the conversation, make sure your email address is correct and click on Send Message.
After the conversation has been e-mailed, you will need to click on Close Window at the bottom. If you don’t need the conversation e-mailed, you can just click on Close Window to exit.
